Loving and serving God and one another for the healing of the world.
We are part of…
In the cycle of the church year, we are in the Season of Creation.
Below, you will find resources for engaging with the spiritual practices of this season. Add something new to your toolkit for the journey!
Praying for Creation
The Laudato Si’ Movement Prayer Book is a compilation of prayers and contemplative reflections to help individuals and communities pray, care, and act for creation. The prayer book was written by a global movement including Pope Francis, religious officials, and lay people from 26 countries around the world.
All Creatures of Our God & King
Episcopalians in Province One are offering a daily email during the Season of Creation (September 1–October 4) which will highlight different keystone species in our New England region. Each email will include a photo, a brief description of the species for the day, a few thoughts on how the species reflects our image of God, and a closing prayer.

“Life is short, and we do not have much time to gladden the hearts of those who make the journey with us. So be swift to love, and make haste to be kind. And the blessing of God, who made us, who loves us, and who travels with us be with you now and forever. Amen.”
— Episcopal Maine benediction, based on the words of Henri Frederic Amiel (1821-1881)
